The main reason we went to Colorado was the Olathe Corn Festival. My sis in law Amber grew up in Olathe, population 1600. If you ever notice Olathe sweet corn at your grocery store. . . that's where it's from and it's amazing. As you can tell by the pictures, the whole family enjoyed it. The goofy picture of Dane is him showing me all of the corn that he had stuck in his teeth : ) At the very end of the day they have a big concert, Amber's Dad's Band was the opening act (they are very talented) for LeAnn Rimes. She was just as good in person as on CD. I love small town carnivals and this was basically a really large version of one. Lots of fun!

Haleigh forgot to point out that my Dad is the one playing the drums, not the one with the platinum blonde hair playing the guitar... sheesh!

hey, my husband was just in here and he said he's friends with Cam from high school, and met your husband when he did the fireplaces at Merwins (he's the home builder) a few weeks ago! Small world!
