Eventful Day

Today was a very eventful day. First, Aubree had her ears pierced. It never gets easier to do it. She was sad for about a minute. Real tears, you know, but she got over it pretty quickly with a sucker. Once we got home she started tugging at her ears. I hope she stops doing that soon. We got her light pink crystal earrings. They look so cute.

Rylee lost her first tooth. I'm really excited that the tooth fairy will be visiting our house for the first time tonight. We discovered that it was loose on the 4th of July. She's been tugging at it ever since. Tonight, we were eating pizza for dinner and she cried throughout the entire dinner because her tooth hurt. After dinner was over Dane got some floss and tied it around her tooth and tied the other side around her thumb. On the count of 3, with tears in her eyes, she yanked. The tooth popped right out onto the floor and she said, "Hey that didn't hurt at all," with a big smile on her face. She can't wait for her dollar from the tooth fairy.
