Labor Day Weekend

We had a great weekend! Friday night, we went to Dave and Buster's with my mom and Garrett and the Jones family. It was great to see them all. We don't spend enough time with that side of the family, since they live out of town. When we left, Peyton said, "I am soooo going back there again." Apparently it earned her stamp of approval.
Then, we decided to opt for a "stay-cation" since things have been a bit on the tight side in the money department lately. We booked a room at the Desert Ridge Marriott. My friends Dustin and Bridget were staying there too, and when all was said and done, my mom and Garrett decided to come and join us too. Afterall, it is my mom's birthday weekend. She turns 51 this week. Can you believe it? She's such a babe!
The resort was great. It had a water park including splash pads, a slide, a lazy river and probably 4 pools. So much fun. One night after dinner my mom and Garrett took Rylee and Peyton back to their room so that we could get Aubree to sleep. When Rylee got back, she told us that she had had the best night ever with her Grandma and PaPa. Apparently they ordered 3 desserts from room service and watched Monsters vs. Aliens in their hotel room. Thanks for making the night so fun for them!
